Description
An Atwoods distribution center associate is responsible for a variety of functions including but not limited to:
•Working merchandise that doesn't get shipped out as box quantity
•Lifting boxes of merchandise to be placed on a card or table to be sorted by items
•Using an RF gun scans upc to get a breakout for each store
•Checking off paperwork for the items received-notating any discrepancies
•Placing material into tote tubs and bar-code scanning inventory to be counted toward the designated store
•When tote tubs are full places bar-code on tote and pushes off onto a conveyor
•Takes tote tubs off the conveyor when full and places onto a pallet for shipping
•Replaces totes as needed.
•Be a leader in safety. Know all procedures outlined in the Atwood’s Safety Manual.
•Log all discrepancies of merchandise.
•Accurately check in shipments, merchandise information, and call on shortages.
•Receive training and practice proper DC safety for lifting, box knifes, unloading etc…
•Report any unsafe acts or near misses.
•Complete daily work lists assigned by manager.
•Show up for work schedule on time, in proper uniform and name tag on.
•Assist in any other duties, special projects, or tasks required by management to maintain the store for our customers.
•Regular and reliable level of attendance is a necessary element for continued employment.
•Performs other duties as requested by Management.
